Showerlux partners with 20-20 Fusion

Leading bathroom manufacturer Showerlux UK has joined forces with 20-20 Fusion to make the specification of its luxury enclosures and wetrooms even easier for bathroom retailers and merchants using its Fusion Bathrooms software.

The entire Showerlux portfolio has been cataloged to enable those with access to 20-20 Fusion’s advanced design and visualization software Fusion Bathrooms to incorporate the popular bathroom brand into their designs. This results in accurate plans for installers to work from and photo realistic 2D and 3D drawings to inspire homeowners to invest.

Bob Bowler, MD at Showerlux UK , comments:
“Undoubtedly, sound bathroom design is highly important and as a manufacturer it is vital that we make it as straightforward as possible for people to understand the visual and practical benefits of our products, which is just one of the reasons we decided to partner with 20-20 Fusion.”

In addition to stylish products such as Urban Chic, Linea Touch, Glide and Designa Nexus, the catalogue also allows for designers to experiment with Showerlux’s made-to measure service. Lee Clark, Corporate Business Manager at 20-20 Fusion, adds “Designed to reduce mistakes and speed up the whole process, we’ve increased the functionality of the software and as a result those using it will find it just as easy to include a standard product or up sell to work in a bespoke item from Showerlux. Stunning new East Coast doors available in ArtiCAD-Pro

The relationship between leading trade-only KBB component and fittings specialist, Leicestershire-based East Coast, and CAD software specialist, ArtiCAD, goes from strength to strength with the inclusion of some stunning new doors in ArtiCAD-Pro for designers to simply drag and drop into their designs.

East Coast’s new range of mitre-framed bedroom doors are all made to measure in-house to meet individual customer needs. Three different profiles are available, with a choice of 11 finish options.

Also for those needing a made-to-measure solution, East Coast has launched a new range of PVC-edged doors. Available in 60 finishes, the doors are manufactured from popular Egger MFC boards and include high gloss uni-colours, high gloss wood grains, as well as matt finish uni colours and wood grains. In addition, the new Tuscany 5-piece wrapped shaker style bedroom doors are now available in standard sizes in six finish options.

“We are delighted with the results we have achieved from our membership of the ArtiCAD Supplier Partnership Programme,” says Dave Burley, marketing manager at East Coast. “Not only is it much easier for us to promote our range of products to those companies who already have ArtiCAD-Pro, but we have also found that many of our existing customers who used to just buy components from us are now buying our doors as well.

“All members of our sales force have ArtiCAD-Pro on their laptops. This means that it is simplicity itself for them to go into a showroom and, within a few minutes, create a display specifically for that particular outlet. The speed and ease with which we can create the display is undoubtedly helping us to secure more display space in showrooms, which contributes significantly to the ongoing success of the East Coast business.

“The ArtiCAD Supplier Partnership, in my view, is mutually beneficial for both East Coast and ArtiCAD, and I am enthusiastic about our joint activities in the year ahead.”

ArtiCAD software, for the design of kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and home offices, is a powerful, flexible, fast and easy to learn computer-aided design system. It produces working plans which automatically generate elevations, multiple 3D perspectives, photorealistic impressions, detailed parts lists and costings. A ‘standard’ kitchen design, including a plan and 3D visualisation can be produced in just 10 minutes.

There are more than 5,000 users of ArtiCAD in the UK alone.

20-20 Fusion Chosen as the Exclusive Cad Partner to Travis

20-20 Fusion, the UK market-leader in design and visualisation software, is delighted to announce that its Fusion software has been selected to be used exclusively in showrooms across the Travis Perkins Group.

Although 20-20 already enjoys the top spot in the CAD software market, this deal stands out as a genuine highpoint for the company. The Travis Perkins Group has a huge presence in the merchants and DIY markets, comprising seven successful companies. Wickes and Benchmarx are already users of the Fusion platform, but Travis Perkins and City Plumbing have only just come on board. The Travis Perkins brand itself is one of the UK’s biggest builders’ merchants with more than 600 branches nationwide, supplying over 100,000 product lines to trade professionals.

The Group has chosen 20-20 Fusion as its exclusive CAD platform after being satisfied that it’s the best programme for its businesses. Travis Perkins trialled the kitchen and bathroom programmes for several months and was so impressed by its all-round performance that as well as signing up for exclusive use of 20-20 Fusion, they have ordered licences for the immediate replacement of all existing competitor systems running in its Travis Perkins and City Plumbing showrooms.

Linda Doughty, Trade Marketing Director at Travis Perkins comments: “We’re very happy to be working with 20-20 Fusion. We were extremely impressed with the product having undertaken extensive trials to test the software to its limits. Introducing Fusion exclusively to the Group’s showrooms means that all of our group brands will be working consistently with the same package, helping to streamline operations.”

Lee Clark, Corporate Business Manager at 20-20 Fusion, adds: “After investing so much time and energy in forging this partnership, we are over the moon that the Travis Perkins Group has come on board. The deal was sealed thanks to our ability to offer bathroom design software that’s every bit as strong as our already well-respected kitchen design software. Our expansion into bathrooms was undoubtedly an instrumental factor, as Travis Perkins displays many of the major bathroom brands, as well as its own, in its showrooms and was therefore looking for a CAD platform that could perform equally well in both bathrooms and kitchens.

The deal will offer further opportunities for the Group and is a massive coup for 20-20. We really couldn’t be happier.”
